Why start an online business (even if you’re scared!)

Does the idea of starting your own online business intimidate you?

Maybe a little?

We’re here to tell you it’s not all that scary!

To date, Teespring has paid over $350 million dollars in profits to creative folks just like yourself who sell products online. Launching multi-million dollar online ventures happen all the time.

People succeed with online businesses.

You can, too.

Having your own business means building the life you’ve always dreamed about.

Why should you take the dive?

Here are three reasons:

1. Freedom to do what you want

Whether you’re ready to tell your boss off or you’re truly ready to create a new income stream, e-commerce is one way to do it.

The freedom of being your own boss is addicting.

Yes, you can wear yoga pants all day. Your schedule is yours to predict. You don’t have annoying coworkers around. Fluffy can sit in your lap while you do admin work or chat with your newest clients.

The point is, your options are bountiful!

Other benefits:

  • Job satisfaction
  • Work-life balance
  • Flexible days
  • Unlimited vacation
  • Work from anywhere!

The amount of work you put in is not relative to the amount of money you make, either. Warren Buffett has the same number of hours in a day as you. Same with this Teespring millionaire. When you budget your time accordingly, paired with creativity and hard work, you can hit those same revenue figures.

Work smarter, not harder is the mantra of successful entrepreneurs!

2. Make money 24/7

Retail e-commerce is BIG BUSINESS.

By 2020, sales are expected to top $4 trillion.

We bet you want a piece of that pie.

Unlike brick-and-mortar stores, e-commerce stores are open 24/7, 365 days a year.

You can make money while you sleep. Online shops showcase your product while you go about life as usual.

Of course, you have to put some thought and direction into it. Otherwise, it will be like a ship sailing without a set course.

You’ll crash if you don’t know where you’re going.

If you have an online biz, there’s a few things to learn. Give yourself some grace and time, but you’ll quickly learn anyone can make money all day, every day.

It doesn’t take a business degree or even a college degree to figure it out.

Some patience.

Yes.

A willingness to learn?

Definitely.

Actionable steps?

For sure.

E-commerce sites are available to people around the globe. The beauty of that? While you’re sleeping, customers from across the world can check out and buy your awesome products.

Plus, many businesses have little-to-zero overhead costs. Back in the day, it took a big chunk of change to start a business.

Not anymore.

Teespring, for example, is free to start using.

3. It’s easy

The internet is a powerful tool when used properly.

Don’t let the fear of the unknown or lack of education of the business world scare you.

With a quick Google search, you can learn how to do pretty much anything.

Including building a business.

Teespring helps you find buyers through its powerful Boosted Network. You could be selling on Amazon, eBay, Walmart, and Wish in no time! All you’ve got to do is create products to sell (which is easy and free with Teespring’s product launcher).

Resources are everywhere if you know where to look.

Inspiration is everywhere, too.

Take a glance at Forbes or Entrepreneur, and you’ll read plenty of stories of people who took chances and built businesses. Consider building an online business a new challenge to learn and grow both personally and professionally.

From designing a new product to discovering new customers, successful e-commerce platforms offer loads of opportunities for its entrepreneurs to learn.

If you can type on a computer, you can figure out how to run an online business. Period.

Ready to get started?

We’ve all got things we’re passionate about.

If being your own boss, making your own schedule, and constantly learning new things sounds fun, even intriguing, starting an online business could be for you. Planning your own day empowers you to look at things that really matter and how you’d like to spend time.

The world of e-commerce is only growing, and there’s plenty of space in the online realm for creative entrepreneurs like you.

For new and experienced entrepreneurs, the reward of creating your own income the way you want can be powerfully motivating and exciting. Whether you already use print-on-demand platforms or you’re completely new to the game, there’s no better time than now to jump in.

I want to market my name. Jessica’s Little Mermaid. I opened a consignment store last year and am closing it this year. I did it in honor of my daughter Jessica who went to heaven with her little mermaid, as she called her, 2 years ago. I don’t want to loose the name. I’m crafty and can’t decide what to choose as a craft. I paint, quilt, knit, crochet. I try every thing. I can’t narrow down what I like the best. Except I want to take that title and use it .
