Get Quality & High Profit Margins with Teespring’s New Leggings

Leggings have officially outpaced denim sales online in the U.S. and they’re already showing promising results on the Boosted Network. Give buyers a high quality product they’ll love and enjoy the high profit margins this new product has to offer. Visit the Teespring Launcher to start selling leggings now.

Pricing to sell

Product quality and buyer satisfaction are our top priorities for this new product—not only to give our sellers a higher profit margin, but also to increase your customers’ lifetime value with more repeat buyers (happy customers are more likely to purchase from you again).

It’s important to set the right selling price to maximize profit margin while optimizing conversion rates. Legging price ranges can change based on your target audience and the quality of the product; high quality leggings can sell for $40 to over $100 (on Nike.com) for example, while low quality leggings sell for as little as $12.

To date, we’ve seen the best selling results for leggings priced from $39.99 to $45.99 on teespring.com—we’ve even seen leggings sell for up to $65 too. With a $27.50 base cost this means you could earn $18.50 or more in profit for direct sales.Don’t forget leggings have officially outpaced denim sales online in the United States—orders increased by 41% in 2015 – while denim orders rose just 3% in the same time frame (WWD, 2016). Because legging sales continue to increase year on year they’re a prime product for advertising online. Try promoting “product pairing” to shoppers to increase cart size at checkout; create shirts, tank tops, hoodies, socks, etc. to match your legging designs like in the image above.

Legging design file tips

When creating leggings we recommend adding files with 150 DPI and a file size of 7183w x 6776h pixels. Download the leggings design template to ensure your designs will be the correct size and preview how they’ll appear once uploaded to the launcher. Make sure to watch this VIDEO explaining how to use the template. Don’t forget your design can be applied all over the entire legging thanks to sublimated printing. You can even apply your design to the waistband too.

Definitely adding the leggings to my store! Thank you for bringing new products out!
One question however, after looking at the template: if I’m designing for all available sizes; should I design to the XL or XS marks? I assume stopping the design at the XS means the bigger the size, the design then stretches?

  4. Caroll says:

    Good news!
Where are the leggings made in and where are they printed?

    Thanks 🙂

i had a hard time find images for the leggings

  10. TJ Fashion says:

After placing my designs in the proper locations (according to the template), my images are still being offset to the left quite a bit instead of where I designed. Is this offset due to me designing with GIMP by chance?

Where the file is designed/edited shouldn’t impact its placement once uploaded. Can you reach out to campaigns@teespring.com to see if they can help pinpoint why the design is shifting after launch? This video demo might help too: https://youtu.be/7TXN-uAzR2Y

  11. Dennis Hubbs says:

Are there any plans in the future for larger sizes?

  12. Prince says:

when designing the leggings there is a line one the templet that says xs and the outer part says xl. does that mean that if you design beyond the xs line that the whole image will not show? if you design only within the xs line won’t that make funny gaps on the xl size leggings?

    1. Kate Shoaf Kate Shoaf says:

Hey Prince – the line shows the design cutoff depending on the size the buyer orders. You’ll want to make sure the main elements of your design are placed within the XS size, but you need to add elements so the design looks nice if a buyer orders XL as well.

  13. Kerrin says:
