Teespring, Facebook & Payoneer host e-commerce for everyone

Hello! My name is Thu Ha and I am Teespring’s country manager of Vietnam and the Philippines. This March I had the opportunity to connect with the South East Asian community at E-commerce for Everyone—an event hosted by Teespring, Facebook and Payoneer. E-commerce for Everyone is a collaborative effort, and represents our shared excitement regarding the Filipino community’s potential to achieve great things!

There were over 100 people in attendance at the event in Cebu. Attendees had the opportunity to hear inspirational stories and gain insight from our fantastic guest speakers.

Speakers in the spotlight

Guest speakers at E-commerce for Everyone included regional representatives as well as successful Teespring sellers. The event presented an invaluable opportunity to connect with companies that have significant impact on e-commerce and learn from some of the best in the business.

Paolo Cesar Lacuna, Facebook’s Business Development Lead for the Philippines, discussed cross-border selling opportunities for aspiring e-commerce entrepreneurs.

Norlito, Marvin & Khate, three pioneering Teespring Creators from the Philippines, also shared their personal success stories and offered insights and tips to other sellers in the community.

Two years ago, building our own home seems too far to realize but last year we just started the construction of our dreamhouse, hoping to finish it this year. We were also able to travel the country and even brought my little girl to Disneyland Hong-Kong—all thanks to Teespring.” – Marvin Espina

Miguel Warren was another guest speaker. He is Payoneer’s Philippines Country Manager, a New York-based online payment solution established in the archipelago in November 2016. Payoneer provides online payment solutions to leading brands like Teespring, Airbnb, Amazon, Google, Upwork and millions of businesses around the world. With over 3 million users worldwide, Payoneer can send money to more than 200 countries in over 150 currencies.
