Teespring x YouTube Integration

Update November 2018: The Merchshelf is now available to eligible creators based in the US, UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Netherlands and Portugal

Teespring has officially integrated with YouTube! This means that select YouTubers can have their Teespring merchandise appear directly below their YouTube videos. With the merch shelf, Teespring provides a seamless point of sale for YouTubers and their communities right on their video pages. • Increased merchandise sales (and revenue!)
  • A YouTube creator bonus of $1 per item sold from the merch shelf (expires at the end of 2018)

Beta Results

Results from early testing of the feature have already demonstrated the effectiveness of the new functionality. With substantial success for YouTubers utilising the service, conversion rates for viewers purchasing merchandise are testing as high as 2.5 times higher than using standard description links. Click through rates are hitting 4x the YouTube average. Early adopters of the service saw an average of 25% more units sold per user, through the merch shelf.

Alan Thrall used to spend hours packing and shipping his merch by hand but today uses our product to eliminate the hassle and sell more products with less effort. Lucas the Spider recently turned his cute, cuddly character into a real-life plushie, selling over 60,000 furry friends and generating $1 million in revenue. YouTube thought-leaders like Phil DeFranco are also using the feature to help build the future of creator merchandising.

A range of design support services are available to YouTube integration users. Whether your channel is in its early stages or you have already established a large following, we are here to help! Check out the design support program for design tips and details on services.

Eligibility

***If you don’t see YouTube Studio Beta or a Monetization tab in your YouTube account, you may not be qualified for the feature just yet.***

Revenue diversification has been a major topic in the creator community, especially in the last couple of years. While some creators can make a healthy living from ads and Adsense, many have found other ways to leverage their success on the platform by tapping into other revenue opportunities like merchandise. We decided to partner with YouTube to integrate merchandise into the very core of the platform experience, making it easier for more creators to thrive and for communities to support the content they love.
