Edit product prices instantly with newest tech update

Now all Teespring users have the ability to edit product prices instantly! Not only that, but we’ve added additional customization capabilities we think you’ll love. Learn about all the new editing capabilities below and start customizing your listings now.

To edit your listings for navigate to the “Listings” section of your Teespring account and select the pencil icon.

You’ll notice there are now two different sections you can edit, as well as two different “Save’ buttons—one for each section.

Listing details

  • Title: Customize the title displayed on your listing page.
  • Description: Customize the description displayed on your listing page. Learn about how to optimize your listing title and description here.
  • Currency settings: Teespring automatically displays currencies based on shoppers’ location. You’re able to choose the exact display price in USD and in one other currency,  either GBP or EURO, on your listing page. If you set the primary EU currency to GBP for example, this means the EURO price displayed will be based on this GBP price you have set. The specific EURO amount will depend on the current exchange rate. Make sure to update your currency settings first before editing any prices in the Available products section below.
  • Default product: Select the default product you want to appear when shoppers visit your listing page.

Available products

  • Price: Customize the selling price displayed (and profit) per product. Keep in mind you can set the selling price for global products (fulfilled in EU and US) in both USD and your primary EU currency (either GBP or EUR). Keep in mind the EU price you set includes VAT—if you’re located outside of the EU the display price you’ll see on the listing page will not include VAT.
  • Product images:  Choose the default product image to display per product.

Keep in mind orders are produced (printed) every three days and this three day period is known as a “print cycle”. When a new price is saved, the updated price and profit margin will be reflected on any new orders placed. The new price will not impact current/previous orders placed within that print cycle before the change.

Visit your dashboard now to try out this new update.

How can we add colors to current listings

    1. Lucy Ford says:

Hey Lizzie, we are still working on this editing functionality for users. Please email [email protected] for assistance with adding colors

  2. Joseph says:

I tried editing the product title and keep getting this error:Featured product can’t be blank and Featured product is not a number.
    What do I do

    1. Lucy Ford says:

Hello! Please email [email protected] for assistance

      1. Evanslucky says:

        Nice

  3. Tammy says:

Eeek! you just made my day! ❤️

  4. Kit Callie says:

Since European prices change almost daily, why not give us the alternate option of locking in how much of a profit we want to keep (from both USD & EU?)

  5. Gaz says:

    An awesome update!
I have one suggestion to make it even better, could you please give the option to make bulk edits to product prices?
Example. After editing the price of a hoodie, we then have the option to apply the price change to the current campaign or all live campaigns with hoodies.
This would save lots of time if we wanted to do a price drop on all products for a SALE or DISCOUNT.
Promo codes can sometimes be a hassle so having this in place would guarantee they get a discount.
    Thank you!

    1. Lucy Ford says:

Hey Gaz, thanks for the suggestion! We’ve definitely got this in mind and will be working throughout the year to roll out more updates.

      1. Ted Whitten says:

I’ve got the same suggestion. I came here hoping there was already a way to do that. There really should be. I only have 50 different designs, but already that’s way too many to go through one at a time and change the prices of each thing. And I know many people have thousands of designs.

        1. Lucy Ford says:

Hi Ted we are aware of this, and is something we are working on! Please bear with us while we work on platform improvements 🙂

          1. Christopher Ambler says:

I, too, would like this feature for just the reasons given.
It’s been months – any progress? My prices are a mess. I need to normalize them, and one at a time, that’s a whole weekend.

  15. Kevin says:

Are there plans to allow editing of the listing itself? Like if I wanted to change the layout of an image on a product? Switch which color is the featured one? And so forth. Seems silly that I have to create a whole new listing to add one or two products instead of just being able to re-open up the design on a listing. Especially as I haven’t sold anything yet, just have been getting feedback from people before really pushing for actual sales.

    1. Lucy Ford says:

Hey Kevin, this is certainly our plan—our product team are working hard on adding new editing capabilities which we hope to roll out asap. In the meantime, if you need assistance with editing listings please shoot an email to [email protected]

      1. Jessica says:

I’m glad to hear this is coming. I only joined this site today, and having come from selling art on Redbubble, was very surprised to find I could not edit my products images and available colours after ‘publishing’, as Redbubble allows. I think, at least until the new editing features you allude to are implemented, you should include some kind of warning in the listing creator, so newbies are aware they shouldn’t publish until every product looks exactly as they want it too.

        1. Lucy Ford says:

Hi Jessica, thanks for the feedback! I will pass it onto the team. Please be rest assured that we are working hard to create a smooth user experience for all.

  16. Dhananjay says:

    Can you help me

    1. Lucy Ford says:

Hello, it’s not compulsory to order samples! We just recommend doing so for promotional purposes. Please check out our ultimate selling guide for some tips on getting your first sale.

  17. johnny Tan says:

Hi, I just set up my storefront with a new design with multiple products. However, I made a mistake in choosing the quality of the t-shirt. I wanted the premium but instead started out with the classic. How do I edit this without redoing the entire store? Thanks.

    1. Lucy Ford says:

Hey Johnny, please send an email over to [email protected] for assistance with this!

    Christian Ts http://www.christian-Ts.com

    1. Lucy Ford says:

Hey Danielle, this feature isn’t currently available to all users. But it’s something we’re working on for this year, watch this space!

  21. Patrick says:

Thank you so much for adding this option, just recently started and really needed this edit feature. Now all I need is an “Edit design” feature as I don’t think I uploaded in a high enough quality and the designs are coming out in a weird resolution. reaching out to the seller mailbox soon. Hope to see that next!

  23. Fin says:

How do you get the ability to sell hats or pins?

    1. Lucy Ford says:

Hey Fin, hats and pins are speciality products, which means you need to unlock them to sell. Check out this article for more info

  24. Jeanette Edwards says:

Not sure if this has been addressed but it would be nice to have a edit all prices on items. Example: I want all Classic Tee’s to be 19.99. Have a different menu for selecting all of all your listings for a particular item type.

  25. Jeanette Edwards says:

A Better idea would be a separate box like reset all items to standard cost. Then edit all items at a percentage of profit, Example: lower all Items by 10% of the profit margin or lower all classic Tee’s by 10 percent of the profit margin. Just a idea.

  26. Jany says:

    Hi Teespring
I am glad you added the feature to change the price of the product,
I have a suggestion regarding downloading a large number of designs in a short time. I mean bulk copying. We need it very much. Please launch this feature as soon as possible.
    Thank you.

  33. Antonio says:

    Hi
Could someone explain why when someone buy a product on my store and arrive at the checkout the price change even if I edit new price or change the currency still gives wrong price at the checkout, also I create a discount code of 10% which is working and active the only thing is that it doesn’t give 10% but less, in the end the total amount is completely wrong ….?? I had to stop promoting and making just few sales this month.
P.S. please do not ask me to e-mail [email protected] as I have sent 8 e-mails with so much attachments screenshots, URL AND personal details for security purposes. I have been desperately asking for help and support and I now lost time, money.energy and the hope that they are able/capable to help I have been promised that they would look into this almost a month ago but not replay, nothing . also the live chat is just a joke does not exist, and the training center haven’t find anything about this topic
I would so much appreciated if anyone and I mean anyone would be able to help, thank you

    1. Kate Shoaf says:

Hello! I can see your tickets in our system and the responses from our team. Please note we’ve got longer-than-normal response times due to an influx of tickets related to COVID-19 delays. I’ve checked the screenshots you sent and asked the tech team to take a look…they confirmed the reason the price on the checkout page is slightly different is because the specific VAT amount is adjusted based on the country the buyer lives in (shipping address). This way we’re able to charge the buyer the correct amount of VAT tax. This would also cause the discount to be adjusted slightly based on the final price with VAT. Apologies for the confusion!

      1. Eadig says:

This is similar to the problem I’m having. I’ve edited my prices but they aren’t displayed properly on my storefront (like a mug is supposed to be $10, but shows as $18.06) but then when you click on the product, it’s the correct price plus a few cents added onto it. It’s so frustrating! I want to share my merch with my followers but I can’t if this keeps happening.

        1. Luiza Jordan says:

Hey, sorry to hear this Eadig! Please do reach out to [email protected] so we can be aware of this issue and help you to resolve it directly.

  34. berfin arslan says:

other items in the list are all white color. where can I change that.

    1. Luiza Jordan says:

Hey, please could you expand on what you mean here? Thank you!

  35. Kelly says:

Hi, there is a pricing error on the hoodie these days. Whenever I upload white hoodie design with certain price, it shows always different price from what I set. For example I set $33.99 but it appears as $35.99, two dollars more. I cannot edit since it looks correct price there. Only store-wise, it shows different. How can I solve this problem?

    1. Luiza Jordan says:

I’d recommend you reach out to sellers support please at [email protected] and we can be made aware of your issue and resolve it much faster!

  36. Carla Douglass says:

Hi, I’m having trouble editing my listings. Every time I try and edit I get sent to the page that says, “Your request timed out. Please try again.” It’s taken me three days to try and edit five listings. I understand the more products the design has the longer it will take but I’m hardly able to change anything at this rate. Is there any way to speed up this process?

    1. Luiza Jordan says:

Hey there! we’re aware of this technical issue and are working to find a fix asap. Sorry for any inconvenience caused!

  37. Power of the Mind says:

Hi, great update! It would be a great help to be abble to edit the prices of all listings/shirts/hoodies at once. This will make it much easier to try out different pricing strategies.

    1. Luiza Jordan says:

Hey! Thanks for the feedback! I’ll forward this onto the tech team 🙂
