Today Teespring announces that former Vice President of Commercial, Chris Lamontagne, will be taking over as CEO. Chris joined Teespring in late 2016 initially working in the London office to support the integration of Teespring’s acquisition of European competitor Fabrily. Prior to Teespring, Chris has held various growth & strategy roles, formerly as Head of Growth at the on-demand ride-sharing app, Gett, and later leading the Growth Team at private investment fund Hambro Perks. Teespring founder, Walker Williams, will act as President and sit on the board.
Since relocating to Teespring HQ in San Francisco, Lamontagne has been responsible for devising a new commercial growth strategy and repositioning of the business. He made significant contributions to securing Teespring’s partnership with YouTube’s Merchshelf and building Teespring’s Boosted Network through direct partnerships with Amazon, eBay, Walmart & Wish. These efforts have led to Teespring creating one of the most comprehensive commerce ecosystems in which to create and sell products online.
Lamontagne says “I am thrilled to be able to lead Teespring through this exciting next phase of our business’ evolution. The last two years have been challenging, but incredibly rewarding. None of this would have been possible without the outstanding group of people we have across the business, in particular, our executive team, who have shown stellar leadership throughout. 2019 is going to be an incredibly exciting year for the entire Teespring Community.”
Teespring users can expect to see exciting new growth opportunities under this new leadership in 2019 including new products, features, partnerships, and more.
Wow this sounds quite a rapid growth company and working with the people will make for their huge success . I think I need to consider something unique that they could produce for me. I like that.
Great!
