We have two new tech updates to share with you this week.
Make your products always available
Teespring allows you to launch products that are always available, but up until today it was buried in the depths of your campaign settings. No longer.
Now you’ll be able to create always available designs that relaunch every three days—right in the Teespring Designer (see below). This means we print and ship your products every three days, allowing folks to get their products much more quickly, which in turn means happy customers and repeat buyers.
Even if you’re doing a limited-edition campaign, we recommend that you select “always available” for the duration so people can get their products more quickly (and spread the word by posting selfies) and turn it off when you want to end it.
Over the next few months, we will be phasing out batch printing every day due to DTG printing capacity constraints.
No more routine emails for always available products
Secondly, we’ve heard you loud and clear—too many emails! We will be halting all routine emails for always available products.
Consider this—a single design that’s batch printed every three days generates seven emails per week:
- Three “campaign relaunched” emails,
- Two “campaign tipped” emails, and
- Two “campaign successful” emails.
Now, if you have ten designs that are always available, that means 3,640 emails from Teespring a year. That’s over 16 MB in Teespring emails. (At 50 designs, we hit 18,200 emails per year.) Multiply that by the several hundred thousand-strong creators on Teespring, and, well, you get the picture. Good news—no more!
I can’t find that option anymore?
This option is in step 3 of the setup process. Under “campaign length”.
I don’t have it either
Hey Jake – you might not see this option if your campaign goal is higher than 1. Learn more about setting campaign goals/design requirements here.
I figured it out, guys… you may need to resample your art (if you are using your own) to be sure that you remain at or above 300dpi even after re-sizing. If you are below 300dpi, you don’t get the option to sell only 1. I’m having to resample most of my mugs now that I’ve solved the problem!
Do you ship to individuals addresses?
Yes we do! Buyers can enter their home address at checkout.
Hi there, this option is no longer available? I can’t find it anywhere during the campaign set up process. The top of the drop down says 3 days – am I missing something? Cheers
Hey Dave, is your goal/sales target set to 1? This might impact the printing options.
If it is set to 1 and you’re still only seeing the 3 day option please let me know.
hello I did this and it still doesn’t work
Hey Reese – we recently updated settings so all campaigns can print with just 1 sale. You might need to reach out to [email protected] if you’re still having trouble.
Two questions:
1. Is there a way to change a current campaign to “always available”?
2. If an order was placed but the campaign didn’t tip, will that order roll over if I select “continuous relaunch”?
Thank you!
Hey Lisa – yes you can go to your campaign settings and update “lifecycle” to always available/continuous relaunch. No, the order will not roll over, that’s why you should always set your goal to 1 when possible. https://community.teespring.com/answers/setting-your-campaign-goal/
Hello,
If a campaign is set to continuous but no products sell within the first 3 days, will the campaign still relaunch?
Thanks!
Hey Charlene – the campaign should continue running until it tips.
Hi. My name is Blessing.
Does teespring only work in the States? Because I can’t seem to publish my own design.
Hey Blessing, nope! Teespring works wherever you have a wi-fi connection 🙂
hey
i just wanted to ask if nothing sells and the cycle continuous will the designer get charged ?
Hey Luka, it doesn’t cost anything to create and sell with Teespring.
Hello, can you relaunch a campaign after you have been tipped for it? How can you make the campaign longer for the item?
Hi Janelle, this is actually the way that Teespring used to work. Now, every listing is automatically relaunched every 3 days unless you set it to be limited edition. Find more info on listings here
hey! I cant find my t-shirts when I search for them in marketplace
why is that ? and how can I find them
are they appear to buyers or not and if they show, under which keyword search they appear ?
thank you
Hey there, marketplace search results are ranked based on an algorithm combining buyer search terms, listing keywords, sales history, and seller trust scores. To increase your ranking in search results we recommend optimizing listings, driving sales, and complying with our design policies. If you have any more questions feel free to reach out to [email protected]
Hi.
How can I change the days of my print cycle? I’ll change 3 for 1 day. Some tips?
Hey, by default, all listings automatically have three day print cycles. This means orders are produced and shipped every three days. If no orders are placed, the print cycle will continue indefinitely. You can also initiate a print cycle here to process orders asap.
You may find this guide really useful too:
I ordered samples and now my product listings aren’t showing active. When I click to relaunch, the screen shows a spin wheel that never changes. I can’t find how to make these items always available. I did not set end dates for any listing.
Oh no! That doesn’t sound right. If you are still experiencing this issue, please reach out to [email protected]
In future, if you’re having problems like this its best to reach out directly to our support team so we can be made aware of your issue immediately!
Why printing soon status taking so long to process?
And how long does it need to finish “printing soon”?
It appears at the end day of the campaign.
Thank you!
By default, all listings automatically have three day print cycles. This means orders are produced and shipped every three days. If no orders are placed, the print cycle will continue indefinitely. You can also initiate a print cycle by going into your listing settings (gear icon next to your listing in your dashboard) to process orders asap.
I hadnt realised the campaign length was an option and a lot of my designs have ended. Is there a way to restart everything and set to not finish?
Hey! You can do this by going into your listings in the dashboard, and clicking the settings icon. 🙂
